Maha Ghazale – Founder, Play Therapist, Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist, Mental Health Consultant
Maha Ghazale is a Play Therapist, Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist, and Mental Health Consultant, specializing in trauma-informed care, child development, and neuroscience-based interventions. She is a faculty member at the University of California Davis CPE for the NAPA Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship (2025-2026) and has provided workshops to therapists, educators, and parents across the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S.
Maha is a member of Play Therapy International and is recognized on the United Kingdom’s Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Maha integrates attachment-based therapy, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care into her practice and is dedicated to fostering secure relationships, emotional resilience, and healing in children and families.

Sarah Sabbah – Educational Psychologist & University Instructor
Sarah Sabbah is an Educational Psychologist, University Lecturer, and Psycho-Educational Consultant, with extensive experience in school counseling, special education, and child mental health. She holds a Master’s in Educational Psychology (School Counseling Emphasis) and has worked extensively in schools, NGOs, and private organizations supporting children with learning and emotional challenges.
Sarah has developed and implemented prevention curricula focused on emotional regulation, classroom management, and peace education. She provides consultation and workshops for teachers, parents, and students, and organizations emphasizing trauma-sensitive interventions and inclusive education.

Dr. Pia Tohme Khalaf – Clinical Psychologist, Chairperson of the Department of Psychology & Education
Dr. Pia Tohme Khalaf is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Chairperson of the Department of Psychology & Education. She earned her PhD from University College London (UCL), where she conducted groundbreaking research on parental mentalization and adolescent attachment security.
Dr. Tohme Khalaf is internationally trained in Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) for Children & Adolescents and has worked with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families in London. She specializes in early childhood mental health, adolescent therapy, and parenting support, and actively provides training and consultation for mental health professionals and educators.

Maha K. Alahmad, MS, NCC – Nationally Certified Counselor & Trauma Specialist
Maha K. Alahmad is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University, specializing in trauma-informed care for children and adolescents. She integrates play therapy and neurobiologically informed techniques, including psychodrama and sandtray therapy, into her practice.
With a background in humanitarian work and mental health advocacy, Maha has served as a mental health consultant, psychotherapist, and community outreach coordinator, supporting trauma-impacted populations. Her work focuses on providing therapeutic interventions for children experiencing adversity, as well as training professionals in trauma-sensitive approaches.
